Why do my airpods keep saying connection failed ?

But it is not a fact, of course, that the same solution will work in your case. Therefore, let’s consider a few more simple solutions. I will show you the example of iPhone, but on the same iPad everything is done in the same way. On Apple Watch you can also perform the same actions.

How to fix connection failed airpods ?

1.Disable and re-enable Bluetooth. You can do this in the settings, or by opening the control point (as in the screenshot below).

After that, activate the connection mode on your AirPods and try to reconnect them. If you see “connection failing” again, then follow these tips.

2. You need to uninstall (forget) AirPods on your iPhone (or other Apple device). Then reconnect the headphones. Go to Settings – Bluetooth. In the list of saved devices, in front of your AirPods, click on the icon (i). Then tap on “Forget this device” and confirm your action by tapping on “Forget device”.

3. You need to activate the connection mode on the headphones. If the indicator light on the case flashes white but you cannot connect AirPods, you can perform a reset. To do this, place both headphones in the case. Next, open the cover (to see the indicator, on AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro it is not necessary to do this, the indicator is outside), press the only button and hold it for about 10-15 seconds.

The indicator light should flash white, then yellow several times, then white again, at which point you can release the button. Hold the headphones next to the iPhone, which should show a connection request. Press “Connect”. If you are not prompted, close and reopen the AirPods case cover.

The AirPods should have connected to your iPhone without any problems. The “Сonnection failed” error never appeared again.
